HEAD CHEF LAQUA VINEYARD

Chef marco suriano

I was born in Santa Margherita Ligure in 1991, and cooking has been a passion of mine since childhood, thanks to the recipes my grandmother passed down to me.

The sea has always been a part of my life, from my hometown to my early work experiences as a Chef de Partie in Portofino.

In 2016, I had the fortune of arriving on the shores of Lake Orta, where I began my adventure in Chef Cannavacciuolo’s team at Villa Crespi. It was two years of intense growth that prepared me to face new challenges.

In 2022, I returned to the Cannavacciuolo Group, this time for a very special project: leading the kitchen at the new Boutique Hotel Laqua Vineyard in the Tuscan countryside of Terricciola, as Head Chef of the restaurant.

A few months later, my cuisine was awarded its first Michelin star, a recognition that I dedicate to all the experiences I’ve had and the cherished recipes of my childhood.
