His story
Marco Suriano was born in Santa Margherita Ligure in 1991. For him, cooking is a childhood love, originated from the recipes of his grandmother.
The sea is the element that connects his birthplace to his early work experiences, which included several seasons as a Chef de Partie in Portofino. In 2016, he found himself on the shores of Lake Orta, marking his first experience in the brigade of Chef Cannavacciuolo at Villa Crespi.
Two years of significant growth concluded with his departure for new professional challenges abroad.
In 2022, however, he made a grand return to the group: the Cannavacciuolo family launched Laqua Vineyard in the Tuscan countryside of Terricciola, and Marco was proposed to become Head Chef of the restaurant.
Just a few months pass, and already the first Michelin star shines above his kitchen, a result of all his life experiences and the beloved recipes from his grandmother.
